Animaloopidy
What a crazy idea!
ANIMALBLOGGIDY
When I started to write the songs for Animaloopidy I had no idea it would turn into a whole album of music. I was just writing some songs for fun. When you play and compose music as your profession, there’s not often a lot of time to write and play for pure fun, and that’s what the zany Animaloopidy songs were…and are. As one person ended up describing them, the songs are "children's music that adults will absolutely love." I think the first one we recorded was “The Shoo-Fly, Blue Fly Blues” with Ken Prymus. A good friend loved the phrase at the end, “Doesn’t anybody use a sugar bowl anymore?” She suggested I write some more of these songs, as did other friends. So I went to work, and it was truly a labor of love. The final result: a collection of 13 songs and 1 instrumental that Disney’s Family Fun magazine called “the perfect pre-school album”—but that adults absolutely love!

Actors love to play! When T.O. called and asked me to sing on Animaloopidy, I was delighted. Who wouldn't want to work with these amazing singers!
Animaloopidy is one of my daughter's favorite CD's and recording it is one of my favorite studio experiences.
